Ripley's
your comments review this restaurant
This restaurant is a hidden treasure, on an eating trip to padstow we visited Rick steins seafood cafe and Number 6 along with a number of the other restaurants in town but Ripleys stood out as the by far the front runner for food, value for money, wine and atmosphere. the dishes we had were perfectly executed, the best being the smoked eel starter which was just wonderful. It wasn't easy finding out much about this restaurant as it didn't seem to sell itself using anything other than word of mouth. the portions are good, it is unpretensious and is the one place we are dying to visit again. I still dream about the food we ate at Ripleys. I would recomend it to everyone who lives or is visiting the area.
